Juanjo Sandoval — artist, official independent guide, and host.
Born in Barcelona and based in Cape Town, Juanjo’s practice brings together travel, material experimentation, and the landscapes of Southern Africa. His mixed-media works on canvas and wood use acrylic as a base with natural pigments, sands, and recycled elements gathered on the road.
Beyond the studio, Juanjo guides private, small-group journeys across South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Zambia, and Zimbabwe — connecting travelers with local environments and cultures.
